If anyone has been following the construction of the Leeds UK store, then I've got a bit of a update for you.

The shopping center that is home to the new store is now starting to take shape, and from the linked photo below, you can see that builders have installed the signature aluminum panels around the edge of the unit thought to be where the new store will be located.

From the looks of things it will probably be a two storey store (as seems to be the case with most of the new stores in the UK now) and also quite wide.

I'll be keeping a close watch on the construction over the next few weeks and posting new photos on this thread.

Of course, nothing is confirmed as of yet, but the aluminum panelling is surely a good sign that a Apple Store is on the way.

P.S. - If you need your fix of Apple goodness before the store opens, PC World, which are just around the corner from the proposed site, are having a Apple concession fitted in-store this coming weekend. If you're in the area, pop-in and say hello. I'll be the guy in the Apple T-Shirt giving demonstrations.
