Moosic, Pennsylvania is about 5 minutes away from Scranton, and they recently just opened The Shoppes and Montage. This type of area seems like the perfect place for an Apple Store. You have the Scranton and Wilkes Barre crowd, as well as anyone else in Northeast PA that don't have to travel to the Whitehall store. I guess they could put on in the Mall @ Steamtown, but that doesn't seem like the place for an Apple Store based on their other choices for locations.
