| Apple Store - Corte Madera
The first four photos were taken on the evening of September 4, 2003 and show the location of the future Village at Corte Madera Apple store. The space is 30-feet wide (considered narrow), but very deep (~90 feet), and with an L-shape (18'x18') at the rear. It's across from an Auntie Anne's Pretzel store, and the Crate and Barrel store. To the right of the space is the Mimi Maternity store, and to the left is the Chico's clothing store. The space is at the southern end of the complex, which is anchored by Macy's. Nordstrom is at the other end of the complex. The fifth photo was taken October 18, 2003 and shows the interior construction is mainly completed, and the stone flooring is being installed. The complex is owned by the Macerich Corp., which owns many other malls in which Apple stores are located. This mall has the usual stores: Gap, Gap for Kids, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, etc. The official address (on the construction permit) is 1618 Redwood Highway, space C-33, Corte Madera, CA. However, on the shopping mall's directory map, the space is listed as #1516. |
